SS/2015 PEARL&JET

Pearl & Jet was my first collection, it reflected the bold, the brave and the beauty. Just the word "Avyaana" inspired me a lot in this collection, the outcome represented Avyaana as a brand very well. I aimed for each Abayah to make a statement without the use of vocabulary. Nevertheless, I did not want it to be so bold that it was too complex for the eye to admire. By that I mean the final piece had to be coherent, so it did not confuse the eye as to were to look first. Each piece has a subtle base with a hint of detail to add texture which inevitably created the bold aspect of the vision.
